How to verify my education?

Based on your selection:

Step A - Legalisation

Further legalisation is not necessary. You can continue to Step B with an officially certified copies (verified by a notary or Czech embassy) or the original documents - originals will not be returned.
The University will accept your documents legalised by an apostille. in a certain country.
UPa will accept your superlegalised documents. Superlegalisation means the authenticity of signatures and seals are first legalised by the government (of the country of origin of the documents). This is usually a multiple-step process depending on the legislature of each individual government but the last step is done by the ministry of foreign affairs. The second step is to have the document legalised by the Czech embassy.
Option A) - A copy certified by a notary or Czech embassy will be accepted if at least one of the following conditions is fulfilled:
• Institution which issued the diploma will upon request confirm via e-mail that the applicant is its alumni
• Institution will send the applicant's transcript or diploma supplement in a sealed envelope or the applicant submits the transcript in a sealed envelope
• Official website of the institution allows confirmation that the applicant is its alumni (e.g. the option to download their transcript after inputing a password to the official website

Step B - Translation

• The University will accept documents in their original Language. Translation is not neccessary.
• The University will accept translation of the legalised documents from step A into Czech or English. The translation must be done by a certified/sworn translator and provided with their official seal.
